Herbert Cappels got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 97th minute, Benny Van den Wyngaert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rekkem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
