Nicolaas Roeckeloes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siebe Naets in the 12th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Siebe Naets made a precise shot to the right of Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Club Brugge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 15th minute Siebe Naets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Brugge's Nicolaas Roeckeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Jespers in the 21st minute of play.
