He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zwart Kaarsvet FC reached it. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Tony Coosemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert-Jan Huyberechts in the 7th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Jonas en de Walvis II's goalkeeper Refael Lissens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niki De Maret. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giles De Custer during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Giles De Custer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joonatan De Vlaeminck hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niki De Maret was the one to do the kick off. Tony Coosemans made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Herbert Cappels sent off a good shot on target. Per-Olof Bergstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Niki De Maret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refael Lissens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joonatan De Vlaeminck fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jonas en de Walvis II's protests and gave Joonatan De Vlaeminck a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jonas en de Walvis II booed when Zwart Kaarsvet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niki De Maret didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Niki De Maret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refael Lissens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Olof Bergstedt hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Niki De Maret made a precise shot to the right of Refael Lissens. Jonas en de Walvis II's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The Zwart Kaarsvet FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
