After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Davy Weba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Standaard Meerbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Davy Weba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanne Van den Berch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Standaard Meerbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan Render came free, but Ataol Ayalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davy Weba charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davy Weba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Rectum Royale got a freekick which was hit by Mickael Lanphan. Davy Weba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yanne Van den Berch came out and tried to block the shot, but Davy Weba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Rectum Royale's goalie and right to Anthonio Van Vyve. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Rectum Royale's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 38 minutes into the match, Rectum Royale's goalkeeper Yanne Van den Berch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davy Weba. After some careless play in the Rectum Royale defense, Ken Stessel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yanne Van den Berch. The Rectum Royale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yanne Van den Berch should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Standaard Meerbeek getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Davy Weba hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After having played for 61 minutes, Peter-Jan Render managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rectum Royale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter-Jan Render was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Standaard Meerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Jandík to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Rectum Royale's goal looked a bit too open when Davy Weba came free, but Yanne Van den Berch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter-Jan Render sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Rectum Royale got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Hendricks. Ernest Hendricks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ataol Ayalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Mickael Lanphan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rectum Royale and the Standaard Meerbeek players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Standaard Meerbeek booed when Rectum Royale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickael Lanphan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Davy Weba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Standaard Meerbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davy Weba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Standaard Meerbeek players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
