Goffrey Waron might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armand Vorster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Goffrey Waron ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Rekkem's Levi Smets got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jacq Schautens kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Goffrey Waron scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armand Vorster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Rekkem getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gust Hellemons hit a great ball. Dimitry Ceusters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levi Smets in the 21st minute. Constant Roekeloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armand Vorster having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Rekkem's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Weets came free, but Armand Vorster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armand Vorster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Weets, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sean Weets in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armand Vorster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Levi Smets hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Sean Weets came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Zantho F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Weets couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Zantho F.C.'s Raf Van Eijcken tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rekkem's Armand Vorster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Caes in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Sean Weets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zantho F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rekkem the free kick. Sean Weets hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sean Weets to make the kick off. Goffrey Waron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Van den Wyngaert in the 53rd minute of play. Dimitry Ceusters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levi Smets in the 55th minute of play. Sean Weets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 67 in the game by Goffrey Waron from a close distance when the talented Armand Vorster managed to make a qualified save. Rekkem's players were relieved. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rekkem's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raf Van Eijcken was slow to take the kick. During this time Zantho F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. When Maxim-Alexander Ghesels came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Rekkem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim-Alexander Ghesels couldn't finish the play. Maxim-Alexander Ghesels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitry Ceusters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levi Smets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Weets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Armand Vorster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Zantho F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benny Van den Wyngaert came free, but Dimitry Ceusters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th play minute Goffrey Waron came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armand Vorster. 0-2. Rekkem's Armand Vorster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Weets in the 93rd minute of play. Levi Smets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Dimitry Ceusters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zantho F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
