In the 3rdth minute of the game Johannes Weijnandts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Langemarks's Sebastien Goossens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johannes Weijnandts scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastien Goossens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Johannes Weijnandts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Langemarks's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Weijnandts came free, but Sebastien Goossens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Weijnandts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Suikerklontjes's Johannes Weijnandts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastien Goossens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Louis Iven fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Langemarks's protests and gave Louis Iven a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Langemarks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Boris Kortens struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sebastien Goossens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suikerklontjes. Sebastien Goossens came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Suikerklontjes's Bart Van de Velde. But to his dismay, Bart Van de Velde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Johannes Weijnandts put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastien Goossens.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Weijnandts made a kick off. Johannes Weijnandts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastien Goossens came out and tried to block the shot, but Johannes Weijnandts slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 53rd minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Johannes Weijnandts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suikerklontjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Weijnandts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 minutes, Gustaaf Goebelens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Langemarks and the Suikerklontjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Langemarks's Gustaaf Goebelens got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Wauters. Sammy Godts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieux Van de Schrieck in the 63rd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Matias Gilis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suikerklontjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Langemarks the free kick. Matias Gilis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Suikerklontjes's Mike Armentier got a free kick in the 65th minute. Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Goebelens in the 69th minute of play. Johannes Weijnandts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastien Goossens came out and tried to block the shot, but Johannes Weijnandts slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 71st minute. Sebastien Goossens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoachim Hauwaerts in the 74th minute of play. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Mike Armentier with Herald Van de Goor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Suikerklontjes's Johannes Weijnandts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastien Goossens. That made the score 0-10 after 80 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Langemarks's Robrecht Schrevens got a free kick in the 86th minute. Sebastien Goossens was a little too slow when Johannes Weijnandts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-11. Frans Leerbels took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sammy Godts. Sammy Godts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-11. When the match was over Suikerklontjes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Langemarks throughout the match.
