In the 7th minute Gertjan Daems shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refael Lissens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes, Gertjan Daems made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jonas en de Walvis II's Refael Lissens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Jonas en de Walvis II's goal looked a bit too open when Ctibor Závada came free, but Refael Lissens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Refael Lissens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ctibor Závada went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Gertjan Daems left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Brugge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Jonas en de Walvis II's goal looked a bit too open when Ctibor Závada came free, but Refael Lissens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Refael Lissens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gertjan Daems in the 33rd minute of the match. Refael Lissens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gertjan Daems in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Club Brugge were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gertjan Daems got free with Refael Lissens in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, William Dhollander took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Refael Lissens to make any attempt to save it. After 67 minutes of play, Jonas en de Walvis II's Geert-Jan Huyberechts made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolaas Roeckeloes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolaas Roeckeloes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert-Jan Huyberechts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Jonas en de Walvis II's Refael Lissens got control of the ball when Gertjan Daems tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Yens Van Heerle. Jonas en de Walvis II's Geert-Jan Huyberechts couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Brugge. A hard shot 75 in the game by Gertjan Daems from a close distance when the talented Refael Lissens managed to make a qualified save. Jonas en de Walvis II's players were relieved. With a little luck, Jonas en de Walvis II's Refael Lissens got control of the ball when Ctibor Závada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gertjan Daems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Refael Lissens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Ctibor Závada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Refael Lissens. The goal made the score 1-8. When Willem Van Meerbeek fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Brugge's protests and gave Willem Van Meerbeek a yellow card for diving instead. Willem Van Meerbeek hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Herbert Cappels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolaas Roeckeloes having to interfere. The Jonas en de Walvis II supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Brugge's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Brugge.
