The crowd rose to their feet as Giles De Custer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dimitry Ceusters. That made the score 5-0 in the 24 minute of play. If Karl Gijselinkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niki De Maret who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Dimitry Ceusters when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Zantho F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Giles De Custer came free, but Dimitry Ceusters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Coosemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goffrey Waron, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Zwart Kaarsvet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constant Roekeloos came free, but Tony Coosemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Josef Caes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Dimitry Ceusters was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giles De Custer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Giles De Custer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitry Ceusters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Giles De Custer got free in front of the goal in the 64th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dimitry Ceusters was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Giles De Custer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giles De Custer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dimitry Ceusters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Coosemans made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Goffrey Waron sent off a good shot on target. Dimitry Ceusters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki De Maret in the 76th minute of play. When Philippe-Arnaud Bosmans fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zwart Kaarsvet FC's protests and gave Philippe-Arnaud Bosmans a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Zwart Kaarsvet FC got a freekick which was hit by Philippe-Arnaud Bosmans. Dimitry Ceusters didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niki De Maret went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Tony Coosemans made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Constant Roekeloos sent off a good shot on target.
