OS Nooby United's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Baert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanne Van den Berch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, OS Nooby United's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan Render came free, but Steffen Leclerq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes OS Nooby United got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Sandberg. OS Nooby United were furious when Jacobus Van Deuren was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, OS Nooby United's Jacobus Van Deuren got a free kick in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rectum Royale's Ernest Hendricks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Steffen Leclerq. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. A collision led to Rectum Royale getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jorden Liboton hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rectum Royale's zone, Lorenz Kestens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanne Van den Berch came out of the goal and Lorenz Kestens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenz Kestens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Angelo Baert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanne Van den Berch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenz Kestens scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yanne Van den Berch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Baert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yanne Van den Berch having to make a save. After 41 played minutes Rectum Royale got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Van der Perren. 46 minutes into the match, Rectum Royale's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Baert came free, but Yanne Van den Berch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Baert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter-Jan Render in the 54th minute of play forced OS Nooby United's goalkeeper Steffen Leclerq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Angelo Baert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanne Van den Berch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, OS Nooby United's Lorenz Kestens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanne Van den Berch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Angelo Baert came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the OS Nooby United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Baert couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Claus Machiels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steffen Leclerq. OS Nooby United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claus Machiels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The supporters of OS Nooby United booed when Rectum Royale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Van der Perren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steffen Leclerq took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter-Jan Render, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rdth minute of the game Angelo Baert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rectum Royale's Yanne Van den Berch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded OS Nooby United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rectum Royale.
