The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, William Dhollander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tony Coosemans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Dhollander in the 29th minute of play forced Zwart Kaarsvet FC's goalkeeper Tony Coosemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Giles De Custer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club Brugge's Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Nicolaas Roeckeloes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Sergio Geldhof got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Giles De Custer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niki De Maret to make the kick off. Nicolaas Roeckeloes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giles De Custer's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Daems in the 59th minute of play forced Zwart Kaarsvet FC's goalkeeper Tony Coosemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Niki De Maret was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 77 minutes of play, Club Brugge's Ctibor Závada made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Coosemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Coosemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gertjan Daems in the 85th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Gertjan Daems notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Tony Coosemans. Tony Coosemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute Gertjan Daems shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Coosemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertus Van Landeghem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Club Brugge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
