Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marnix Van Bombergen kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, VC Walshoutem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Spoelberghe to maneuver through the defense. Yanniek Matthijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Leers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Snyers's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louis Snyers in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Leers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Louis Snyers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Axel Leers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Liernu booed when VC Walshoutem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaud Schuts didn't get a good kick on the ball. VC Walshoutem's Axel Leers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Snyers in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Bastian Spoelberghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Walshoutem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastian Spoelberghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marnix Van Bombergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Snyers to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Snyers got free with Axel Leers in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 played minutes Liernu got a freekick which was hit by Günther Bardy. In the 61st minute Bastian Spoelberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weverton van Beek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of VC Walshoutem booed when Liernu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sprunger Fasting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugen Schneebeli hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Marnix Van Bombergen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liernu's Weverton van Beek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Weverton van Beek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marnix Van Bombergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Liernu getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Vinicio Llope hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Liernu's goal looked a bit too open when Paul-Louis Jenken came free, but Weverton van Beek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marnix Van Bombergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sprunger Fasting kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, VC Walshoutem's Bastian Spoelberghe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Weverton van Beek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Weverton van Beek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marnix Van Bombergen in the 92nd minute of play. Louis Snyers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, VC Walshoutem's Chris-George Wortelers got a free kick in the 94th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. VC Walshoutem were victorious despite being under pressure from Liernu for much of the match.
