The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardinho Leme got free with Gertjan Imberechts in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathijs Meeus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderik Huyterhoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Roderik Huyterhoeven didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardinho Leme made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Three Towers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gillis Huijbregs to maneuver through the defense. Gertjan Imberechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrez Cerneels made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luka Dhondt. 88 minutes into the match, Three Towers United's goal looked a bit too open when Evert-Jan Hollants came free, but Gertjan Imberechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Sporting Club Anderlecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Labrouche to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Roderik Huyterhoeven from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Mathijs Meeus's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 96th minute Bernardinho Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gertjan Imberechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
