Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Raf Peeters made the kick off which started today's match. Andris Verheijt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 5th minute Raf Peeters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillaume Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Adam Verheecke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nivelles's Gilbert Ketelers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andris Verheijt fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 15th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Pieter-Maarten De Mey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nivelles's supporters rose to their feet, but Pieter-Maarten De Mey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillaume Huygens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timothy Geest took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilbert Ketelers. Gilbert Ketelers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Guillaume Huygens was a little too slow when Raf Peeters got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andris Verheijt to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Ketelers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Verheecke in the 55th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind K. Beerschot VA's goalkeeper Guillaume Huygens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guillaume Huygens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raf Peeters in the 67th minute of the match. Andris Verheijt made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nivelles's Pieter-Maarten De Mey. Raf Peeters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillaume Huygens having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Raf Peeters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but K. Beerschot VA's Guillaume Huygens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raf Peeters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillaume Huygens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Lieven Walters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andris Verheijt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Gilbert Ketelers made a huge save. Timothy Geest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gilbert Ketelers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. K. Beerschot VA's Timothy Geest got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. K. Beerschot VA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
