Bob Boegaert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oswald Van Caels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. With his leg Ronny Waegemans managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when KV Wanzele's Michel Verheijd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Robby Pancken managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC stopt ermee's supporters rose to their feet, but Robby Pancken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Boegaert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bram Henrix might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bob Boegaert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bram Henrix ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oswald Van Caels made a kick off. Ronny Waegemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswald Van Caels, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Rosbach in the 56th minute of play forced KV Wanzele's goalkeeper Bob Boegaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes KV Wanzele's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Piet Verhaeghen who took care of the corner kick. A wasted opportunity for KFC stopt ermee. 78 minutes into the match, KV Wanzele's goal looked a bit too open when Bram Henrix came free, but Bob Boegaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robby Pancken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrad Kerckmans charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrad Kerckmans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Conrad Kerckmans hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
