Ronny Waegemans came out of the goal and Karl Hendrickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dyllan Humbelets made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Robby Pancken sent off a good shot on target. Brent-Jan Dewitte was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, BAF Acupunctors's goalkeeper Dyllan Humbelets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robby Pancken. With an all-out effort, KFC stopt ermee's Dyllan Humbelets threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bram Henrix, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bram Henrix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bram Henrix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dyllan Humbelets read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to KFC stopt ermee getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Laurence Grauwen hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, BAF Acupunctors's goal looked a bit too open when Bram Henrix came free, but Dyllan Humbelets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bram Henrix in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dyllan Humbelets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dyllan Humbelets stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bram Henrix's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Robby Pancken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KFC stopt ermee's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Piet Verhaeghen in the 44th minute. Piet Verhaeghen made a great header on KFC stopt ermee's corner, it was just that BAF Acupunctors's Dyllan Humbelets managed to reach the ball for a save. 46 minutes into the match, KFC stopt ermee's Bram Henrix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dyllan Humbelets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Brent-Jan Dewitte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BAF Acupunctors and the KFC stopt ermee players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes BAF Acupunctors got a freekick which was hit by Brent-Jan Dewitte. In the 48th minute Bram Henrix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dyllan Humbelets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

KFC stopt ermee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bram Henrix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BAF Acupunctors's Dyllan Humbelets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robby Pancken in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Bram Henrix managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC stopt ermee's supporters rose to their feet, but Bram Henrix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dyllan Humbelets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Robby Pancken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dyllan Humbelets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bram Henrix in the 86th minute of the match. Bram Henrix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the KFC stopt ermee players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
