Gilian Bauwens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ian de Pelsmakere came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Storm U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian de Pelsmakere couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabien Raemakers during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Storm U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Keldermans was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Stefan Rondou successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Stefan Rondou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Keldermans in the 55th minute of the match. Gilian Bauwens charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Storm U18's goalkeeper Stefan Rondou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
