When Storm U18's Rudy Van Eijcke in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Deinze's Renaut Hermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilian Bauwens in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian De kaiser came free, but Stefan Rondou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Storm U18's Stefan Rondou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Storm U18 from getting a goal against them. Izak De Vriendt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaut Hermans having to interfere. Renaut Hermans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudy Van Eijcke's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Storm U18's Stefan Rondou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Storm U18 from getting a goal against them. If Rudy Van Eijcke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izak De Vriendt scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renaut Hermans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goalkeeper Stefan Rondou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kieth Styles. Stefan Rondou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johny Ourogge, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian De kaiser to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Dennis Bracke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Storm U18 and the Club Deinze players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Storm U18 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Dennis Bracke hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian De kaiser came free, but Stefan Rondou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilian Bauwens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Rudy Van Eijcke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deinze's Renaut Hermans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Izak De Vriendt in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Renaut Hermans, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rudy Van Eijcke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Izak De Vriendt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Fre Wouqier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Ray Wortelaert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefan Rondou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Renaut Hermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Van Eijcke in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Dennis Bracke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaut Hermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izak De Vriendt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
