Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christiaan De Cock took the kick off in the first half of the match. Patrik Vereect made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommi De Bruyn in the 3rd minute of play. Tommi De Bruyn scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Vereect, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Arnold Marchal fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Hoeselt's protests and gave Arnold Marchal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Club Hoeselt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Marchal to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Wouter Oelaerts shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrik Vereect showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Sebbe Conincx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patrik Vereect made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebbe Conincx in the 22nd minute of play. Octave Loos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Octave Loos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Club Hoeselt's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Sproten came free, but Patrik Vereect reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeff Van Hautvinck hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Christiaan De Cocks short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Claude Renotte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christiaan De Cock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Claude Renotte made a huge save. Christiaan De Cock's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Claude Renotte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Patrik Vereect took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommi De Bruyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Christiaan De Cock put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Claude Renotte.

Patrik Vereect showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebbe Conincx, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Alex Sproten took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Patrik Vereect to make any attempt to save it. Sebbe Conincx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Patrik Vereect made a huge save. In the 59th play minute Tommi De Bruyn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patrik Vereect. 1-4. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Kroeters! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Club Hoeselt. Jeff Van Hautvinck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claude Renotte. 2-5. Christiaan De Cock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Renotte having to interfere. Tommi De Bruyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Patrik Vereect made a huge save. In the 84thth minute of the game Christiaan De Cock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kroeters's Claude Renotte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrik Vereect was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alex Sproten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 87 minute of play. In the 94th minute Christiaan De Cock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Renotte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kroeters's goalkeeper Claude Renotte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claude Renotte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiaan De Cock's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the match was over FC Kroeters could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Hoeselt throughout the match.
