After a rather tough play, De Rudies's Ruud Van Den Eijnde got a free kick in the 6th minute. Mathieu Bosmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Wiggers having to interfere. Robert Onofrei hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Remy Bekaert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sebastian Van Bouschot firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benny Wiggers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris Cempenaers in the 22nd minute of the match. De Rudies's Benny Wiggers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joris Cempenaers in the 24th minute of play. The referee gave De Rudies a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marten Scheerens, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aslan Spor32's Sebastian Van Bouschot. 1-0. Benny Wiggers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Cempenaers in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Ruud Van Den Eijnde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joris Cempenaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Wiggers having to interfere. Benny Wiggers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris Cempenaers in the 42nd minute of the match. Ruud Van Den Eijnde kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Joris Cempenaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joris Cempenaers to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mathieu Bosmans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aslan Spor32's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathieu Bosmans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benny Wiggers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to De Rudies getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ruud Van Den Eijnde hit a great ball. Sebastian Van Bouschot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Keldermans, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A hard shot 64 in the game by Joris Cempenaers from a close distance when the talented Benny Wiggers managed to make a qualified save. De Rudies's players were relieved. Joris Cempenaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Benny Wiggers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Mathieu Bosmans notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of De Rudies's Benny Wiggers. Benny Wiggers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastian Van Bouschot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Keldermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aslan Spor32's Sebastian Van Bouschot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Bekaert in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match, Joris Cempenaers got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benny Wiggers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Mathieu Bosmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Cempenaers got free with Benny Wiggers in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, De Rudies's Mark Meulemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Van Bouschot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in De Rudies's zone, Alfons Kindts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benny Wiggers came out of the goal and Alfons Kindts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 minutes, Mark Meulemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Rudies and the Aslan Spor32 players grew even worse after the yellow card. De Rudies's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
