Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) After a rather tough play, FC Kroeters's Georges-Philippe Mampaerts got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 10 minutes of play, FC Kroeters's Tommi De Bruyn made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Rondou was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute Sebbe Conincx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rondou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Bas Vrancken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebbe Conincx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Rondou. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Tommi De Bruyn succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 27th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izak De Vriendt in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Kroeters's goalkeeper Claude Renotte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilian Bauwens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Claude Renotte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Kroeters's Claude Renotte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izak De Vriendt in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Isidoor Huijbrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommi De Bruyn had several of the Storm U18's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Stefan Rondou as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tommi De Bruyn's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stefan Rondou firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommi De Bruyn got free with Stefan Rondou in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Sproten made a kick off. When FC Kroeters's Alex Sproten in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Storm U18's goalie prevented a goal. If Gilian Bauwens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Sproten came free, but Stefan Rondou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Kroeters getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tommi De Bruyn hit a great ball. FC Kroeters's Claude Renotte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Van Eijcke in the 64th minute of play. Stefan Rondou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Sproten in the 67th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play FC Kroeters's Georges-Philippe Mampaerts was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Storm U18 booed when FC Kroeters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges-Philippe Mampaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilian Bauwens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Claude Renotte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rudy Van Eijcke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storm U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudy Van Eijcke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claude Renotte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes FC Kroeters got a freekick which was hit by Wouter Oelaerts. Stefan Rondou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Van Damme in the 89th minute of the match. Rudy Van Eijcke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Renotte having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Storm U18's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Sproten came free, but Stefan Rondou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Kroeters had won after a very even match.
