Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rik Winnepennincks took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Rik Winnepennincks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Vereect saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Rik Winnepennincks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LeRoeulx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiaan De Cock in the 9th minute of play forced LeRoeulx's goalkeeper Claude Persoons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save LeRoeulx from getting a goal against them. Jeff Van Hautvincks short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Claude Persoons to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. LeRoeulx's Rik Winnepennincks got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Club Hoeselt's goal looked a bit too open when Jabbar De Roeulx came free, but Patrik Vereect reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanny Mouton kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes of play, LeRoeulx's Rik Winnepennincks made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Vereect was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of LeRoeulx booed when Club Hoeselt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Van Bets didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Jabbar De Roeulx notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Club Hoeselt's Patrik Vereect. Patrik Vereect was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Club Hoeselt's goal looked a bit too open when Rik Winnepennincks came free, but Patrik Vereect reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claude Persoons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiaan De Cock in the 26th minute of the match. Patrik Vereect came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by LeRoeulx's Brian Van Eynde. But to his dismay, Brian Van Eynde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 31st minute Brian Van Eynde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Vereect saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Club Hoeselt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Sabbe to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Vereect showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stein Govaerts in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club Hoeselt defense, Jabbar De Roeulx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Vereect. The Club Hoeselt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Vereect should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Rik Winnepennincks notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Club Hoeselt's Patrik Vereect. Patrik Vereect was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Hoeselt's Patrik Vereect played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Van Eynde in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Christiaan De Cock made the kick off in the second half. When Marten Koninkx fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Hoeselt's protests and gave Marten Koninkx a yellow card for diving instead. Marten Koninkx hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Christiaan De Cock came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Club Hoeselt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiaan De Cock couldn't finish the play. Claude Persoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiaan De Cock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Club Hoeselt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roben De Kelper to maneuver through the defense. Marnix Voorhof's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claude Persoons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes LeRoeulx's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeff Van Hautvinck who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jeff Van Hautvinck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claude Persoons quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Club Hoeselt's Patrik Vereect played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Van Eynde in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Club Hoeselt's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Van der Willeghem came free, but Patrik Vereect reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Brian Van Eynde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Vereect saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rik Winnepennincks succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 74th playminute. Club Hoeselt's Patrik Vereect played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Van Eynde in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Rik Winnepennincks notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Club Hoeselt's Patrik Vereect. Patrik Vereect was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Club Hoeselt's zone, Rik Winnepennincks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Vereect came out of the goal and Rik Winnepennincks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jabbar De Roeulx in the 87th minute of play forced Club Hoeselt's goalkeeper Patrik Vereect to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LeRoeulx's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
