Spectators: 8001 (Terracing: 6002, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rudy Van Eijcke started the match with the kick off. Stefan Rondou came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Hoeselt's Jeff Van Hautvinck. But to his dismay, Jeff Van Hautvinck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stefan Rondou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marnix Voorhof, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jeff Van Hautvinck took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Rondou. Stefan Rondou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Club Hoeselt's Jeff Van Hautvinck got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeff Van Hautvinck in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Rondou saved Storm U18 from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Storm U18's Bas Vrancken slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrik Vereect. That made the score 1-2 after 20 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marnix Voorhof in the 23rd minute of play forced Storm U18's goalkeeper Stefan Rondou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Gilian Bauwens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storm U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Hoeselt the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Storm U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilian Bauwens to maneuver through the defense. When Christiaan De Cock came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Club Hoeselt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiaan De Cock couldn't finish the play. Joannes Van Craen's late challenge caught a Club Hoeselt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joannes Van Craen helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Storm U18! Stefan Rondou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecht Van Dijck in the 35th minute of play. Storm U18's Stefan Rondou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Sabbe in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Club Hoeselt booed when Storm U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izak De Vriendt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Stanny Mouton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefan Rondou skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Storm U18 defense, Patrik Van Bets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Rondou. The Storm U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Rondou should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Arnold Marchal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Rondou. Storm U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnold Marchal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christiaan De Cock was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Marnix Voorhof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rondou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christiaan De Cock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Marnix Voorhof left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Hoeselt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. In the 58th minute Arnold Marchal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rondou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marnix Voorhof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Rondou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Sabbe in the 66th minute. In the 69th match minute, Storm U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy de Nooter to maneuver through the defense. Storm U18's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Christiaan De Cock 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. Storm U18's Stefan Rondou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Van Bets in the 74th minute of play. Stefan Rondou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brecht Van Dijck in the 75th minute. Patrik Vereect made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoor Huijbrechts in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Billy de Nooter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Rondou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brecht Van Dijck in the 81st minute. Stefan Rondou was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Christiaan De Cock capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christiaan De Cock really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. Stefan Rondou made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Arnold Marchal sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Storm U18's Izak De Vriendt got a free kick in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnold Marchal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Rondou. That made the score 1-10 in the 93 minute of play. Club Hoeselt played a much better game than Storm U18 and deserved their victory. The Storm U18 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
