Spectators: 8083 (Terracing: 6063, Seating: 1859, VIP seats: 161) De Huppelende Zebras's Tijs Van Gorpt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Rik Winnepennincks notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of De Huppelende Zebras's Herman Kortens. Herman Kortens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herman Kortens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jabbar De Roeulx in the 8th minute of play. Herman Kortens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jabbar De Roeulx went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Herman Kortens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rik Winnepennincks in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Rik Winnepennincks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LeRoeulx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Herman Kortens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jabbar De Roeulx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rik Winnepennincks took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herman Kortens. Herman Kortens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in De Huppelende Zebras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Herman Kortens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Van der Willeghem in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Rik Winnepennincks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Kortens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the De Huppelende Zebras defense, Rik Winnepennincks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herman Kortens. The De Huppelende Zebras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herman Kortens should have stopped the shot. In the 35th match minute, LeRoeulx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Verdonk to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alex Rueda managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Huppelende Zebras's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Rueda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claude Persoons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herman Kortens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Van Eynde, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rik Winnepennincks made a kick off. Herman Kortens was a little too slow when Brian Van Eynde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 60th minute, LeRoeulx's Jabbar De Roeulx dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Van der Willeghem in the 64th minute of play forced De Huppelende Zebras's goalkeeper Herman Kortens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rik Winnepennincks kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, LeRoeulx's Jabbar De Roeulx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herman Kortens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Claude Persoons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Rueda in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Sjöberg in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Persoons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herman Kortens was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Jabbar De Roeulx capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jabbar De Roeulx really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. 88 minutes into the game, Brian Van Eynde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herman Kortens. Brian Van Eynde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. If Jabbar De Roeulx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaetan De Coninck kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. LeRoeulx's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
