The Waterhoek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerome Goovaers made a kick off. Benne Huveneers charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benne Huveneers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rema United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sven Wollans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karel Jannes came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven Wollans slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 83rd minute. One of Rema United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Waterhoek:s goal. The goalkeeper, Karel Jannes, was totally fooled by Waterhoek's Dave Rockloos, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
