The supporters of Fighters Against Cancer booed when Speurdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Jaddon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Erik Beaufort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanny Tkint hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswald Van Der Meren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Oswald Van Der Meren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fighters Against Cancer's Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Oswald Van Der Meren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Speurdonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswald Van Der Meren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Speurdonk booed when Fighters Against Cancer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanny Tkint didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Oswald Van Der Meren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem Verheijden in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Willem Verheijden made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fighters Against Cancer's zone, Kris Waeberghe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven came out of the goal and Kris Waeberghe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Speurdonk getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Erik Beaufort hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christofere Vandommele during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Fighters Against Cancer got a freekick which was hit by Christofere Vandommele. Ricardo van Beek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrand Leemans in the 71st minute of the match. Fighters Against Cancer's Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswald Van Der Meren in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Bertrand Leemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo van Beek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattheo Van Leemputt hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Oswald Van Der Meren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Axel Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute Sven Pineurs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo van Beek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Kris Waeberghe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven, passed just outside the right post. Michael Van Baerlem kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Fighters Against Cancer were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
