Spectators: 8077 (Terracing: 6059, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cedrik De Muysere made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, PELT VV's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Roosendael came free, but Joannes Antheunis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitch Wortelers was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Cedrik De Muysere capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cedrik De Muysere really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Lauren Van Den Abeele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PELT VV's Phillipe Demarrez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pascal Boegaerts in the 19 minute of the game. After 20 minutes of play, PELT VV's Lauren Van Den Abeele made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mitch Wortelers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lauren Van Den Abeele struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Mitch Wortelers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PELT VV. After 28 played minutes PELT VV got a freekick which was hit by Pieter-Maarten Matthieu. Mitch Wortelers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cedrik De Muysere went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Cedrik De Muysere came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the PELT VV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cedrik De Muysere couldn't finish the play. Lauren Van Den Abeele struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mitch Wortelers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PELT VV. 39 minutes into the match, Jannic De Wilde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mitch Wortelers. Moleneind's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jannic De Wilde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 45 minutes into the match, PELT VV's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Roosendael came free, but Joannes Antheunis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, PELT VV's Jannic De Wilde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mitch Wortelers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Roosendael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lauren Van Den Abeele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mitch Wortelers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cedrik De Muysere's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 55 played minutes PELT VV got a freekick which was hit by Ken Postens. Cedrik De Muysere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Moleneind's Tommi Keuppens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joannes Antheunis. That made the score 5-1 after 62 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedrik De Muysere in the 65th minute of play forced Moleneind's goalkeeper Mitch Wortelers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickael Decaluwe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Joannes Antheunis made a huge save. If Cedrik De Muysere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauren Van Den Abeele struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Mitch Wortelers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PELT VV. Mitch Wortelers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedrik De Muysere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mitch Wortelers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cedrik De Muysere's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Cedrik De Muysere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PELT VV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cedrik De Muysere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Cedrik De Muysere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mitch Wortelers was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 93 minutes into the game, Tommi Keuppens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moleneind's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PELT VV the free kick. After a rather tough play, Moleneind's Tommi Keuppens got a free kick in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PELT VV had played much better football throughout.
