Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Moleneind's Edgard Roosendael started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Roosendael came free, but Rens Haesevoets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Tibaut Van de Velde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moleneind's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Moleneind:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe:s goal. Mitch Wortelers went to the wrong direction when Andries Humblets was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Edgard Depelsmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Depelsmaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moleneind's Mitch Wortelers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannick Van Der Talen in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dany-Adams De Cock in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitch Wortelers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jannick Van Der Talen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Wortelers having to interfere. Edgard Depelsmaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mitch Wortelers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benjamin Schrevens came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Moleneind fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Schrevens couldn't finish the play. Rens Haesevoets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Roosendael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's Dany-Adams De Cock got a free kick in the 39th minute. Edgard Roosendael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Dany-Adams De Cock hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Moleneind's Thommy De Meyer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe. 65 minutes into the match, KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Roosendael came free, but Rens Haesevoets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Roosendael came free, but Rens Haesevoets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Schrevens might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rens Haesevoets. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Schrevens ran back to his position shaking his head. Rens Haesevoets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Schrevens in the 94th minute of play.
