With his leg Steffen Kortens managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when FC Het Altaar's Tjorven Wery fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hubert Roofhoof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Uytdebroeck in the 7th minute of play. Tjorven Wery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Kortens having to interfere. Tjorven Wery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Steffen Kortens made a huge save. In the 11th minute, one of Fc Oxford:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc Oxford. Tjorven Werys short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Steffen Kortens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Steffen Kortens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tjorven Wery's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Louis-Philippe Beets charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louis-Philippe Beets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fc Oxford getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Louis-Philippe Beets hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Tjorven Wery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steffen Kortens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Steffen Kortens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Van Latem, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. FC Het Altaar's Hubert Roofhoof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Uytdebroeck in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play Fc Oxford's Louis-Philippe Beets was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Fc Oxford's Louis-Philippe Beets got a free kick in the 29th minute. Tjorven Wery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FC Het Altaar's Tjorven Wery in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Oxford's goalie prevented a goal. Tjorven Wery made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 37thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Steffen Kortens would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With a little luck, Fc Oxford's Steffen Kortens got control of the ball when Tjorven Wery tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Oxford's goalkeeper Steffen Kortens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steffen Kortens was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Jorn De Meijer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorn De Meijer really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tjorven Wery was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Tjorven Wery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Oxford's Steffen Kortens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Jannis Van Vyve shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steffen Kortens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Steffen Kortens came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Het Altaar's Tjorven Wery. But to his dismay, Tjorven Wery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Reinaert Raeimakers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorn De Meijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Van Latem kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The long shot by Gert Verheyen in the 69th minute really tested Hubert Roofhoof's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 72 minutes into the game, FC Het Altaar's Tjorven Wery nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steffen Kortens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 76 minutes, Tjorven Wery made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fc Oxford's Steffen Kortens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Fc Oxford's Kenney Stuckers got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Oxford's goalkeeper Steffen Kortens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Arne Van Beylen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Oxford's Steffen Kortens did a great save. When FC Het Altaar's Tjorven Wery in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Het Altaar's Tjorven Wery got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
