When Sporting Ledeseyde's Steffen De Wever in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the match, KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen De Wever came free, but Rens Haesevoets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Steffen De Wever came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sporting Ledeseyde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steffen De Wever couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Steffen De Wever notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's Rens Haesevoets. Rens Haesevoets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes in the game, Steffen De Wever fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rens Haesevoets having to interfere. Jerry Verhaghens short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Rens Haesevoets to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th minute, Steffen De Wever got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerry Verhaghen in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rens Haesevoets saved KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe from getting behind. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 74 minutes into the game, Elias de Pelsmakere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Ledeseyde the free kick. After 74 played minutes KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe got a freekick which was hit by Elias de Pelsmakere. After 75 minutes, Steffen De Wever mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Ledeseyde and the KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Ledeseyde getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Steffen De Wever hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Steffen De Wever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Ledeseyde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen De Wever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rens Haesevoets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The referee ignored KFC Bomal-Sur-Ourthe's protests and gave Dany-Adams De Cock a yellow card for diving instead. Sporting Ledeseyde walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
