Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andy Uytdebroeck started the match with the kick off. When Marnix Tkint fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Speurdonk's protests and gave Marnix Tkint a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Marnix Tkint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo van Beek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis-Philippe Beets in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Andy Uytdebroeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo van Beek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Uytdebroeck in the 10th minute of play forced Speurdonk's goalkeeper Ricardo van Beek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaert Raeimakers in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Fc Oxford booed when Speurdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Beaufort didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Lannoye kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Maxime Jaddon's late challenge caught a Fc Oxford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxime Jaddon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Speurdonk getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Maxime Jaddon hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Fc Oxford's Gert Verheyen in action when he in the 26th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! With an all-out effort, Speurdonk's Steffen Kortens threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kris Waeberghe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Speurdonk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bjorn Baekelandt in the 41st minute. The corner ended in Bjorn Baekelandt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Oxford's Steffen Kortens did a great save. Ricardo van Beek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Uytdebroeck in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Kenney Stuckers came free, but Ricardo van Beek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oswald Van Der Meren to strike the kick off in the second half. Kenney Stuckers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ricardo van Beek made a huge save. Maxime Jaddon was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Maxime Jaddon hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ricardo van Beek made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Reinaert Raeimakers sent off a good shot on target. Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Speurdonk from getting a goal against them. After having played for 63 minutes, Axel Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Speurdonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marnix Tkint was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Speurdonk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Speurdonk:s Ricardo van Beek showed great skill when he stopped Gert Verheyen:s penalty. With a little luck, Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek got control of the ball when Reinaert Raeimakers tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Reinaert Raeimakers made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo van Beek. Speurdonk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With an all-out effort, Fc Oxford's Ricardo van Beek threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andy Uytdebroeck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Oswald Van Der Meren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steffen Kortens having to make a save. Reinaert Raeimakers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo van Beek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's goalkeeper Ricardo van Beek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaert Raeimakers. Ricardo van Beek made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Louis-Philippe Beets sent off a good shot on target. Reinaert Raeimakers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Fc Oxford could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Speurdonk throughout the match.
