The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fc Oxford getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Kenney Stuckers hit a great ball. Steffen De Wever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Steffen Kortens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steffen Kortens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen De Wever in the 36th minute of the match. Jerry Verhaghen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Steffen Kortens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steffen De Wever in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steffen Kortens saved Fc Oxford from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Fc Oxford's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Verhaghen came free, but Steffen Kortens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Steffen De Wever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Uytdebroeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerry Verhaghen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Kortens having to interfere. One of Fc Oxford:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Ledeseyde:s goal. Fc Oxford:s Steffen Kortens showed great skill when he stopped Garry Neesens:s penalty. Fc Oxford's Gert Verheyen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sporting Ledeseyde. Reinaert Neirynck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Uytdebroeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Sporting Ledeseyde's Jerry Verhaghen got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sporting Ledeseyde players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
