Oswald Van Der Meren started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rema United's Stan Koten got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Kris Waeberghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reinaud Rijmenans kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Rema United's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin-Alexander Meertens came free, but Karel Jannes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karel Jannes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswald Van Der Meren in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rema United's Frederick Gallot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo van Beek. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Jerome Goovaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Speurdonk getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Oswald Van Der Meren hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerome Goovaers to strike the kick off in the second half. Reinaud Rijmenans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo van Beek having to interfere. Oswald Van Der Meren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karel Jannes made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Oswald Van Der Meren sent off a good shot on target. After 59 played minutes Rema United got a freekick which was hit by Renzo Impens. Erwin-Alexander Meertens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Karel Jannes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karel Jannes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswald Van Der Meren, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Erwin-Alexander Meertens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Speurdonk's supporters rose to their feet, but Erwin-Alexander Meertens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karel Jannes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oswald Van Der Meren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rema United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Kris Waeberghe scored to the left of an out of position Karel Jannes, making the score, 1-1. After 91 played minutes Rema United got a freekick which was hit by Renzo Impens. Karel Jannes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswald Van Der Meren in the 93rd minute of play. Oswald Van Der Meren succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 96th minute, Kris Waeberghe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
