Penalty! 7 minutes into the match, Fighters Against Cancer's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Cardetti came free, but Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martín Cardetti went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Arnaud De Schepper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Van Boxstael in the 18th minute of play forced Fighters Against Cancer's goalkeeper Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martín Cardetti took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the game, mesudiyespor fc's Martín Cardetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Spencer Stern made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Bertrand Leemans sent off a good shot on target. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Van Beets in the 30th minute of the match. Tomas Wiechgers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Gertjan Van Boxstael made a precise shot to the right of Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven. Fighters Against Cancer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Fighters Against Cancer's zone, Paulino Nikola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven came out of the goal and Paulino Nikola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Fighters Against Cancer's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Nikola came free, but Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willem Verheijden was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fighters Against Cancer's goalkeeper Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnaud De Schepper received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaud De Schepper slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 55th minute. Arnaud De Schepper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven made a huge save. In the 65th play minute Arnaud De Schepper came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven. 0-10. Tomas Wiechgers scored 0-11 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulino Nikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven having to interfere. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Gertjan Van Boxstael capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gertjan Van Boxstael really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaud De Schepper got free with Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Arnaud De Schepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Arnaud De Schepper sent off a good shot on target.
