But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorn De Meijer couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Tjorven Wery fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mitch Wortelers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tjorven Wery's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 19 minutes of play, FC Het Altaar's Tjorven Wery made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mitch Wortelers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moleneind! Jorn De Meijer shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 32nd match minute, Moleneind was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Schrevens to maneuver through the defense. Tjorven Werys short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Mitch Wortelers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Tjorven Wery's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mitch Wortelers was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Tjorven Wery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Mitch Wortelers made a huge save. The wind increased when Benjamin Schrevens made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Moleneind's Edgard Roosendael got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jorn De Meijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Het Altaar's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorn De Meijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitch Wortelers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tjorven Wery in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mitch Wortelers saved Moleneind from getting behind. Jonas Van Latem kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Moleneind defense, Tjorven Wery kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mitch Wortelers. The Moleneind fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mitch Wortelers should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tjorven Wery in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitch Wortelers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd match minute, FC Het Altaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon van Bedts to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tjorven Wery's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mitch Wortelers was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Thommy De Meyer made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Roofhoof. FC Het Altaar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Moleneind's zone, Tjorven Wery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Wortelers came out of the goal and Tjorven Wery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Pascal Boegaerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moleneind's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Het Altaar the free kick. Jorn De Meijer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mitch Wortelers. Moleneind's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute Tjorven Wery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Wortelers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Het Altaar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
