Reinaert Neirynck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Ledeseyde's goalkeeper Reinaert Neirynck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The wind increased when Tjorven Wery made the kick off in the second half. When Steffen De Wever fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Ledeseyde's protests and gave Steffen De Wever a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute of the match Garry Neesens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hubert Roofhoof skillfully saved the ball. Sem Goons charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sem Goons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
