Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronny Stuycken started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Ief Laureys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gilian Van Eijken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernand Huyghens hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natan Engels in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bastiaan Sustens saved VC Fl from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Ronny Stuycken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilian Van Eijken. Kon.Bresvlim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronny Stuycken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Harald Cantillon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Julius Huijberechts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bastiaan Sustens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kon.Bresvlim's Gilian Van Eijken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Stuycken in the 27th minute of play. Harald Cantillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastiaan Sustens having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Natan Engels notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of VC Fl's Bastiaan Sustens. Bastiaan Sustens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Kon.Bresvlim getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Daniel De Werdt hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Cantillon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Boris Stevens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC Fl and the Kon.Bresvlim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boris Stevens kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Julius Huijberechts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bastiaan Sustens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Natan Engels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. After having played for 60 minutes, Harald Cantillon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kon.Bresvlim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Cantillon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kon.Bresvlim's Sebastien Liboton got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Julius Huijberechts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastiaan Sustens having to interfere. If Natan Engels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastiaan Sustens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Cantillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Kon.Bresvlim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel-Jan Roose to maneuver through the defense. Gilian Van Eijken made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Ief Laureys sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Sebastien Liboton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastien Liboton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Sebastien Liboton notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of VC Fl's Bastiaan Sustens. Bastiaan Sustens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in VC Fl's zone, Sebastien Liboton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastiaan Sustens came out of the goal and Sebastien Liboton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute Harald Cantillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastiaan Sustens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karel-Jan Roose struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bastiaan Sustens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kon.Bresvlim. If Natan Engels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in VC Fl's zone, Karel-Jan Roose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastiaan Sustens came out of the goal and Karel-Jan Roose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastien Liboton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kon.Bresvlim's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
