Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mattijs Imbereghs kicked off to start the match. Kristof Van Bael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Valckeneers in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Kurt Verheije hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Valckeneers in the 12th minute of play forced Purple Talent's goalkeeper Kristof Van Bael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kurt Verheije fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purple Talent's protests and gave Kurt Verheije a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Purple Talent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Verheije to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Purple Talent's Gustave Van der Sande slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bertan Helsens. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Kristof Van Bael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guust Van der Vorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes in the game, Gustave Van der Sande fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bertan Helsens having to interfere. Bertan Helsens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattijs Imbereghs in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Purple Talent's Gustave Van der Sande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertan Helsens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Gustave Van der Sande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Talent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustave Van der Sande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guust Van der Vorst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Purple Talent got a freekick which was hit by Remi Keldermans. Mattijs Imbereghs kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Willemeau got a freekick which was hit by Anton Van Deijck. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattijs Imbereghs in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertan Helsens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the game, Mattijs Imbereghs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bertan Helsens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mattijs Imbereghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattijs Imbereghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes, Mattijs Imbereghs made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Willemeau's Bertan Helsens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 70th minute of the match Kurt Verheije completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kurt Verheije a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeffrey Valckeneers during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Jeffrey Valckeneers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gustave Van der Sande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Purple Talent's Kristof Van Bael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Purple Talent from getting a goal against them. Guust Van der Vorst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristof Van Bael having to make a save. Purple Talent's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
