Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 8 played minutes KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Mattheijs. KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's Vicente Ketelers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remi Keldermans in the 9th minute of play. Gustave Van der Sande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattijs Imbereghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ketelers having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustave Van der Sande in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Ketelers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mattijs Imbereghs took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Ketelers. Vicente Ketelers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mattijs Imbereghs hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Bartjan Kerstens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geoffry Stuyck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Kristof Van Bael when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mattijs Imbereghs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purple Talent's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattijs Imbereghs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Ketelers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Purple Talent were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattijs Imbereghs in the 54th minute of play forced KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's goalkeeper Vicente Ketelers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Purple Talent booed when KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robby Verheecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Mattijs Imbereghs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Talent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattijs Imbereghs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristof Van Bael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geoffry Stuyck went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 1-2 became the score in the 65th minute when Mattijs Imbereghs elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's zone, Gustave Van der Sande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Ketelers came out of the goal and Gustave Van der Sande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mattijs Imbereghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Purple Talent's zone, Bartjan Kerstens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristof Van Bael came out of the goal and Bartjan Kerstens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Ketelers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustave Van der Sande in the 76th minute. After 80 minutes, Bartjan Kerstens made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Purple Talent's Kristof Van Bael tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Purple Talent's Teo De Schutter got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Bartjan Kerstens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kristof Van Bael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geoffry Stuyck took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristof Van Bael. Kristof Van Bael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Bartjan Kerstens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Kristof Van Bael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
