Spectators: 7990 (Terracing: 5994, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luka Grootjans started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Richmond Van Caenegem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Olympians and the AFC Madzuly players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to The Olympians getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Richmond Van Caenegem hit a great ball. Jorre Vercouteren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Roscams in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goalkeeper Jorre Vercouteren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Roscams. Stein Dhondt charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stein Dhondt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stein Dhondt hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jorre Vercouteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Grootjans, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sebastian Roscams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorre Vercouteren having to interfere. AFC Madzuly's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Luka Grootjans scored to the left of an out of position Jorre Vercouteren, making the score, 2-0. Gustav Rousseau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Noworolnik having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Amaury Jooris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Rousseau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorre Vercouteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Grootjans in the 43rd minute of the match. Jorre Vercouteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Grootjans, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. If Luka Grootjans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Staf Grammet to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Luka Grootjans made a precise shot to the right of Jorre Vercouteren. AFC Madzuly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jorre Vercouteren came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by The Olympians's Sebastian Roscams. But to his dismay, Sebastian Roscams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. During the 70th minute of the match Amaury Jooris completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Amaury Jooris a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Amaury Jooris hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Klaas Van Achter hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Grootjans came free, but Jorre Vercouteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, The Olympians's Josef De Keyser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorre Vercouteren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Jorre Vercouteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Roscams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Grootjans came free, but Jorre Vercouteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Luka Grootjans made a precise shot to the right of Jorre Vercouteren. AFC Madzuly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The Olympians walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
