Bastiaan Sustens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joppe deconinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bastiaan Sustens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesinha Simão in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bastiaan Sustens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joppe deconinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Cesinha Simão notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of VC Fl's Bastiaan Sustens. Bastiaan Sustens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Cesinha Simão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bastiaan Sustens was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Bryan Adriens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bastiaan Sustens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Joppe deconinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Ronny Stuycken dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Palolahti, 1-1. Bryan Adriens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastiaan Sustens having to interfere. Cesinha Simão spun around in front of the goal 33 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of VC Fl's goal. Bastiaan Sustens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Simão in the 36th minute of play. Joppe deconinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Palolahti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ief Laureys in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Ief Laureys could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Samuel Palolahti however easily saved by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronny Stuycken to make the kick off. VC Fl's Bastiaan Sustens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save VC Fl from getting a goal against them. Bastiaan Sustens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cesinha Simão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Bryan Adriens struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Bastiaan Sustens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Coppenst. Joppe deconinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bastiaan Sustens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastiaan Sustens was a little too slow when Cesinha Simão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-3. 71 minutes into the match, FC Coppenst's goal looked a bit too open when Ief Laureys came free, but Samuel Palolahti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Bryan Adriens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bastiaan Sustens. VC Fl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryan Adriens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. A collision led to VC Fl getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Roland Huijbrechts hit a great ball. Cesinha Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Ief Laureys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Palolahti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesinha Simão in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 86th minute of the match, Cesinha Simão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bastiaan Sustens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Joppe deconinck came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Coppenst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joppe deconinck couldn't finish the play. Samuel Palolahti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ief Laureys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded FC Coppenst left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VC Fl.
