Mattias De Wortelaers hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Sebastien Michiels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Schaerlaekens having to interfere. Rob Schaerlaekens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Stoffels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Roussel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rob Schaerlaekens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rob Schaerlaekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Michiels, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Michael Roussel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Schaerlaekens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Vance's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Stoffels came free, but Rob Schaerlaekens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sebastien Michiels managed to get in a good position for a shot. LeRoeulx's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastien Michiels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rob Schaerlaekens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattheo de Pelsmaker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sammy Waeberghe might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rob Schaerlaekens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sammy Waeberghe ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Axel Stoffels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rob Schaerlaekens. Vance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Stoffels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. LeRoeulx's Sammy Waeberghe got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Sebastien Michiels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LeRoeulx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastien Michiels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Roussel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rob Schaerlaekens made a huge save. LeRoeulx's Steve Stuijckens pulled a muscle in his leg after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. LeRoeulx's Gert-Jan Roose was substituted for Steve Stuijckens. After a rather tough play, Vance's Joerie Van Gertsuyden got a free kick in the 70th minute. Axel Stoffels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Norbert Van Gorp kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Michael Roussel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rob Schaerlaekens having to make a save. Rob Schaerlaekens was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Sammy Waeberghe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sammy Waeberghe really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Michael Roussel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rob Schaerlaekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Michiels, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. LeRoeulx played a much better game than Vance and deserved their victory. The Vance players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
