Stefan Boegaerts had several of the Vance's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After taking down the ball on FC Rising Stars's corner Steve Van Linthaut fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rob Schaerlaekens quite easily take care of the ball. Mattheo de Pelsmaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Stefan Boegaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vance's Rob Schaerlaekens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Manu Lauwers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Schaerlaekens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rob Schaerlaekens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes De Mare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute of the match FC Rising Stars got a corner. Vance's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Steve Van Linthaut ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Stefan Boegaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rob Schaerlaekens was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 41 played minutes Vance got a freekick which was hit by Joerie Van Gertsuyden. After 42 minutes, Stefan Boegaerts made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vance's Rob Schaerlaekens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Stefan Boegaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rising Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Boegaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rob Schaerlaekens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattheo de Pelsmaker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Manu Lauwers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Boegaerts in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rob Schaerlaekens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Stefan Boegaerts put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rob Schaerlaekens. Rob Schaerlaekens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Boegaerts in the 60th minute of play. Remy Stas took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rob Schaerlaekens. Rob Schaerlaekens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Stefan Boegaerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rob Schaerlaekens having to make a save. If Stefan Boegaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignace Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattheo de Pelsmaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Vance's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Stas came free, but Rob Schaerlaekens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Stefan Boegaerts notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Vance's Rob Schaerlaekens. Rob Schaerlaekens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rob Schaerlaekens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Boegaerts went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the game, FC Rising Stars's Stefan Boegaerts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rob Schaerlaekens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 85th match minute, FC Rising Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Mampaerts to maneuver through the defense. Ignace Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattheo de Pelsmaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Rob Schaerlaekens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Boegaerts in the 88th minute of play. Stefan Boegaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rob Schaerlaekens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
