After a defensive mix-up in VC Vierseldijk's zone, Stefan Boegaerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilian Debrouwere came out of the goal and Stefan Boegaerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michael Koppen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Guilian Debrouwere made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Rising Stars's Stefan Boegaerts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guilian Debrouwere. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Stefan Boegaerts who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Guilian Debrouwere when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 23rd match minute, VC Vierseldijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludo De Hond to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Boegaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Guilian Debrouwere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilian Debrouwere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Boegaerts in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Manu Lauwers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guilian Debrouwere. The goal made the score 2-0. VC Vierseldijk's Guilian Debrouwere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save VC Vierseldijk from getting a goal against them. After 32 played minutes VC Vierseldijk got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Standaers. In the 37th minute of the game Ludo De Hond made a throw-in which Bertrand Capelle played forward. A collision led to VC Vierseldijk getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Teo De Keyser hit a great ball. Michael Koppen kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo De Keyser made a kick off. Guilian Debrouwere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remy Stas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manu Lauwers in the 52nd minute of play forced VC Vierseldijk's goalkeeper Guilian Debrouwere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilian Debrouwere came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rising Stars's Remy Stas. But to his dismay, Remy Stas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 59 played minutes FC Rising Stars got a freekick which was hit by Remy Stas. Alexandre Jenken kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Axell Van De Gehuchte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rising Stars and the VC Vierseldijk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Axell Van De Gehuchte hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Bertrand Capelle fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Vierseldijk's protests and gave Bertrand Capelle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, one of VC Vierseldijk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VC Vierseldijk. VC Vierseldijk's Guilian Debrouwere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Boegaerts in the 76th minute of play. Guilian Debrouwere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manu Lauwers, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Guilian Debrouwere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Stas in the 83rd minute of play. VC Vierseldijk's Guilian Debrouwere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Stas in the 86th minute of play. Ewout De Brouwer's late challenge caught a VC Vierseldijk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ewout De Brouwer helped the player get up and apologised. Ewout De Brouwer hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, FC Rising Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ewout De Brouwer to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Rising Stars's Stefan Boegaerts got a free kick in the 95th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Jeremy Gobelijns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rising Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremy Gobelijns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that FC Rising Stars were the better team. FC Rising Stars's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
