Spectators: 7461 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stefan Boegaerts kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Kota 1 FC ™ getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jan-Pieter Heijlen hit a great ball. Remy Stas charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remy Stas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ignace Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charl Ravoet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes of play, FC Rising Stars's Stefan Boegaerts made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Leers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Leers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Boegaerts in the 19th minute of the match. Ignace Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charl Ravoet, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Remy Stas took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Leers. Frank Leers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Frank Leers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Boegaerts in the 32nd minute of play. Frank Leers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Stas in the 33rd minute of the match. Jan-Pieter Heijlen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignace Himschoot having to interfere. After the first half FC Rising Stars were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tristan Vanden Berghe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jan-Pieter Heijlen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kota 1 FC ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Pieter Heijlen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignace Himschoot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Leers made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Stefan Boegaerts sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Mathieu Van den Dries in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Rising Stars's Gino Mampaerts. Charl Ravoet charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charl Ravoet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kota 1 FC ™'s Charl Ravoet got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Stefan Boegaerts took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Frank Leers to make any attempt to save it. FC Rising Stars's Henri-Xavier Elens was substituted for Remy Stas. Axell Van De Gehuchte charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axell Van De Gehuchte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kota 1 FC ™ booed when FC Rising Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axell Van De Gehuchte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Leers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manu Lauwers went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Ignace Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Vanden Berghe in the 83rd minute of the match. Kota 1 FC ™'s Frank Leers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kota 1 FC ™ from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Rising Stars's Jeremy Gobelijns got a free kick in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Tristan Vanden Berghe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kota 1 FC ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Rising Stars the free kick. Sam Decorte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Leers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sam Decorte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frank Leers. That made the score 0-8 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded FC Rising Stars left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kota 1 FC ™.
