Alex Weggers's late challenge caught a Ruddervoorde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Weggers helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ruddervoorde booed when Club Brugge KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 92nd minute, Ruddervoorde's Filip Van de Gaer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Filip Van de Gaer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-3 to the left of a surprised Bartjan Van de kauter 96 minutes into the match. Club Brugge KV succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ruddervoorde had controlled the match.
