Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joannes Heremans took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Club Brugge KV's Lennart Van den Bossche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luk Herpoel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven Luijten came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bartjan Van de kauter could save by the left post. Sven Luijten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 12th playminute. After a rather tough play, Racing Tienen's Kent Steenberghs got a free kick in the 15th minute. Club Brugge KV's Bartjan Van de kauter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Club Brugge KV from getting a goal against them. Bartjan Van de kauter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Luijten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartjan Van de kauter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Luijten in the 24th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Racing Tienen's Sven Luijten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Willem De Keuster kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Luijten in the 41st minute of play forced Club Brugge KV's goalkeeper Bartjan Van de kauter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge KV's Lennart Van den Bossche got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Van den Bossche made a kick off. Racing Tienen's Luk Herpoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrie Christiaens in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, Racing Tienen's Joannes Heremans made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartjan Van de kauter was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute Joannes Heremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartjan Van de kauter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Racing Tienen's Sven Luijten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartjan Van de kauter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Bartjan Van de kauter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joannes Heremans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartjan Van de kauter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joannes Heremans in the 65th minute of the match. Bartjan Van de kauter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaud Wollans in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Sven Luijten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartjan Van de kauter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Joannes Heremans made a precise shot to the right of Bartjan Van de kauter. Club Brugge KV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 83rd match minute, Club Brugge KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem De Keuster to maneuver through the defense. Bartjan Van de kauter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Steenberghs in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Racing Tienen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
