Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gino Van Meerbeeck took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Jan Lyens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Van de Gaer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Corneel Reiniers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filip Van de Gaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Ruddervoorde got a freekick which was hit by Jan Lyens. After recieving a nice pass, But Anderlecht AC's Jerome Omblet tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Filip Van de Gaer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneel Reiniers having to interfere. Corneel Reiniers came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ruddervoorde's Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel. But to his dismay, Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Herman Demeulemeester hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Ruddervoorde's Kris Van Clijnebreugel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 39th minute Filip Van de Gaer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneel Reiniers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Van de Gaer in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneel Reiniers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Ruddervoorde's Filip Van de Gaer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Filip Van de Gaer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneel Reiniers having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Van de Gaer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Van de Gaer in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneel Reiniers saved But Anderlecht AC from getting behind. Jan Lyens charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Lyens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ruddervoorde getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jan Lyens hit a great ball. Corneel Reiniers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Van de Gaer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Filip Van de Gaer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruddervoorde's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Van de Gaer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneel Reiniers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneel Reiniers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But Anderlecht AC's Corneel Reiniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Van de Gaer in the 90th minute of play. Corneel Reiniers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Luke Du Molin's late challenge caught a Ruddervoorde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luke Du Molin helped the player get up and apologised. There was no doubt that Ruddervoorde were the better team. Ruddervoorde's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
