Corneel Reiniers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Constantijn Gendre came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Arrakis fans jumped to their feet. If Constantijn Gendre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantijn Gendre in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneel Reiniers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Arnoud Uyttebroeck notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of But Anderlecht AC's Corneel Reiniers. Corneel Reiniers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Youri Schepmans kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. But Anderlecht AC's Corneel Reiniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantijn Gendre in the 21st minute of play. Kasper Decloedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Corneel Reiniers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Demeulemeester hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luke Du Molin got free with Thomas Van de Gaer in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corneel Reiniers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantijn Gendre in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Bossuyt in the 33rd minute of play forced But Anderlecht AC's goalkeeper Corneel Reiniers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasper Decloedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneel Reiniers having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Constantijn Gendre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrakis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantijn Gendre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corneel Reiniers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoud Uyttebroeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Arrakis booed when But Anderlecht AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luke Du Molin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Arrakis got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Decloedt. The audience was convinced that Gino Van Meerbeeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Van de Gaer was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thomas Van de Gaer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Van Meerbeeck in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Arrakis's Constantijn Gendre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corneel Reiniers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kasper Decloedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Constantijn Gendre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasper Decloedt struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Corneel Reiniers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrakis. In the 70th minute Constantijn Gendre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneel Reiniers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Luke Du Molin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantijn Gendre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Corneel Reiniers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Kasper Decloedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrakis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasper Decloedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Constantijn Gendre lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Corneel Reiniers. Corneel Reiniers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantijn Gendre in the 87th minute of play. Arrakis's Thomas Van de Gaer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaetan Van Beveren in the 89th minute of play. Kasper Decloedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Corneel Reiniers made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, Gaetan Van Beveren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Thomas Van de Gaer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Johnny Bossuyt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
