Jesse Van Landeghem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renzo Van Eijcke hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of KV Vencimosnt booed when Racing Tienen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joppe de Pelsmaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janes Van De Wiele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Luk Herpoel made a huge save. A collision led to Racing Tienen getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sven Luijten hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Scheerens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Reinaert Artois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luk Herpoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joannes Heremans did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Jesse Van Landeghem 61 minutes into the match. Joannes Heremans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesse Van Landeghem having to make a save. Luk Herpoel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Scheerens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luk Herpoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Scheerens in the 73rd minute of the match. Sven Luijten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jesse Van Landeghem made a huge save. In the 81st match minute, Racing Tienen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri-Xavier Delen to maneuver through the defense.
