Spectators: 7997 (Terracing: 5999, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) Peter-Jan Deflandre started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 10th minute KV Vencimosnt were awarded a corner. Martin Scheerens went to the cornerflag to take it. Janes Sustens thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tom Van Bouschot, a very annoying self made goal in the 10th minute which led to 0-1. Tom Van Bouschot came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Vencimosnt's Martin Scheerens. But to his dismay, Martin Scheerens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th minute, Renzo Van Eijcke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Scheerens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reinaert Artois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charl Rombouts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tom Van Bouschot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in 2860 Linksback's zone, Reinaert Artois stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Van Bouschot came out of the goal and Reinaert Artois tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Scheerens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Van Bouschot having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Scheerens in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Van Bouschot saved 2860 Linksback from getting behind. Charl Rombouts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Van Bouschot having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Martin Scheerens put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tom Van Bouschot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Scheerens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Reinaert Artois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Vencimosnt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaert Artois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Scheerens in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tom Van Bouschot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Martin Scheerens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charl Rombouts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Scheerenss short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Tom Van Bouschot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Reinaert Artois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as KV Vencimosnt's Martin Scheerens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tom Van Bouschot. That made the score 0-4 after 80 minutes of play. 2860 Linksback's Maurice Vinckx was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jesse Van Landeghem in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 88th play minutes Martin Scheerens shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Tom Van Bouschot and just under the crossbar into goal. Jesse Van Landeghem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter-Jan Deflandre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded KV Vencimosnt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 2860 Linksback.
